Alan L. Joffe, M.D. has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Atlanta since 1979. Dr. Joffe, a native of Maryland, graduated from Adelphi University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1975. The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore was the site of both his internship and residency training, where Dr. Joffe completed his training as the Chief Resident for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Joffe is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Georgia and Atlanta OB/GYN Societies, the Southern Medical Association, the American Fertility Society, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He recently served as chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Northside Hospital and remains on the Northside Hospital Executive Committee. Dr. Joffe has served on the Board of Directors of the Medical Association of Atlanta.
